How To use lashes for the first time

My biggest beauty question I get asked is how to put on lashes for the first time. Here is my step by step guide to all you novice users out there.

Step 1
Always ensure to apply a liquid or gel liner before adding the lash. If you miss this step your lashes can look disjointed and unnatural. I use the Estee Lauder double wear gel liner with a thin liner brush, add a little cat flick for a more feline, dramatic look.

Step 2
I would recommend using the GWA heart stopper lash when loosing your false virginity. As these aren't to heavy and the criss cross effect gives them a natural look. Measure the false lashes against your natural lash to see if its the perfect fit. In most cases the lash will be to long so snip off the access accordingly using nail scissors. Using the glue provided apply a small amount to the lash base, wait for 30 seconds for the glue to tack and using blunt tweezers lay on top of your natural lashes, softly pressing in the corners. Never use a sharp tweezer as it can be very dangerous and painful.

Step 3
After you have placed the lashes, leave them for 30 seconds so the glue nearly sets. Then pinch your natural lash and falsies together using a precision eyelash curler to avoid separation.

Step 5
Apply a very light coat of mascara on to the lashes. I would recommend this collection, lengthening mascara as the comb shaped wand allows a more controlled application.

There you have it a perfectly applied pair of false lashes
